Dear Mrs. Teng,
Words can't even begin to express the gratitude I feel towards you. You've watched and helped me grow ever since I first set foot in your debate class as a small, stubborn 9th grader. You've allowed me to pursue my own path even when I was blatantly being stubborn and irritable. You stood with me through all of this and still supported me. You allowed me to participate in the amazing YBB program and helped open my eyes to all these other underprivileged, but extremely brave souls in the world.
I'm excited to say that I've been accepted to Northwestern University's class of 2020, my dream school. I am so grateful to you for writing a recommendation for me, and will be forever indebted to all that you have taught me through the years. I say this with all my heart: Thank you Mrs. Teng, for all that you have done and continue to do for me!
The Interages collaboration is growing a way to build lasting friendships and useful projects using technology, creative expression and nature. Without you and remarkable teachers with vision, it would not be possible. Ring House activities department staff and residents gratefully thank you for this opportunity.
What a delightful lunch with you yesterday. You bring such engagement, learning and possibilities to so many people here in MD and in China. The seeds of your dreams have bloomed and continue to expand connections where it is important. Bridging so many communities you do. Thank you for brightening my afternoon and memories that follow….dreaming of all the possible creative and technical projects unrealized in institutions!
Happy Weekend Holiday with your dear family.
